ah yeah pushing daisies... I liked that show too - however it started becoming like Sailormoon in the fact that every episode there had to be a murder, they had to meet people who had it happen, and then towards the end of the story you got a little snippet more of the plot... not to say you should give all the good bits of the story away at the start but I was getting restless!
anyway, i love the color technique in this. where did you pick up your photoshop techniques? any particular tutorials or guides that helped you learn how to manipulate PS?
Yeah, that's the problem with mystery shows (House wore that formula out to me in the first season), but I loved Ned and Chuck, so I didn't mind I'm a bigger fan of The Office, though!
I learned most of the basics at SCAD, which was mostly how to use PS's tools to do things like flats, color holds, etc. A friend asked me about tutorials not too long ago, but the two I used years ago aren't up anymore. I just used one of the default hard round brushes and the airbrush to paint most of it, applied some various watercolor textures that I painted and scanned, and used some custom texture brushes to punch things up here and there. I dunno if that helps much, ha ha.
Isn't it a shame that it was canceled? I loved Ned and Chuck! And thanks
Oh, cool, you're from England! I was surprised when I found out that Anna Friel was British, her American accent was so good! I love British accents, ha ha ha.
